Former Fla. Gov. Jeb Bush to headline McCrory fundraiser

Posted — UpdatedFormer Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will headline an April 30 fundraiser for Republican gubernatorial candidate Pat McCrory at the Angus Barn in Raleigh, the McCrory campaign confirmed today.
McCrory spokesman Brian Nick said the early evening fundraiser is expected to be one of McCrory's biggest events for the campaign cycle.
“Gov. Bush is one of the reform experts in the country on education and Pat's been in touch with him on that subject,” Nick said.
The fundraiser will be co-hosted by several GOP heavy-hitters, including Ambassador Jim Cain and his wife and lawyer Kieran Shanahan.
