Clayton church fights to keep Haitian children in U.S.

Posted — UpdatedCLAYTON, N.C. — Horne Memorial United Methodist Church in Clayton, which sponsors an orphanage in Haiti, is working to get a waiver to help 10 Haitian children stay in the U.S. while the nation rebuilds.
The orphanage was severely damaged in the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that struck the region. An estimated 200,000 died in the quake.
