Raleigh woman critical after Glenwood Avenue wreck
A Raleigh woman was in critical condition Sunday after a two-vehicle wreck that shut down eastbound Glenwood Avenue for more than three hours Saturday morning.

Robin Olivia Davis, 28, drove her 1999 Chrysler passenger car into the median of Glenwood Avenue, near Lake Anne Drive, shortly after 7 a.m., according to the wreck report.
The Chrysler slid through the median, struck a concrete culvert, then became airborne and started to roll over as it entered the eastbound lanes. Stephen Thorpe Diller, 46, of Garner, didn't have time to react, the wreck report says, and the Chrysler struck his a 2001 Ford pickup truck.
Both vehicles went off the side of the road and came to rest on their sides. The Chrysler landed on a dirt embankment, partially ejecting Davis.
Davis was transported to WakeMed's trauma center, where she was listed in critical condition Sunday morning.
Eastbound lanes of Glenwood, at Ebeneezer Church Road, were shut down until about 10:30 a.m., police said.
