Cary robbery suspect wanted by FBI surrenders
A man wanted by the FBI for robbing and shooting a woman outside a Cary bank in 2007 surrendered to police in Philadelphia Sunday night.

The FBI had sought Phillip Thomas "Scoob" Williams, 36, on a federal charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution on an attempted murder charge. Cary police have charged him with attempted murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Police say Williams shot a woman in the stomach on June 17, 2007, as she was making a midday ATM deposit at a Bank of America branch on Maynard Road. He then grabbed her deposit and fled to a waiting car outside Cary Towne Center, police said.
Williams had been on the run after police identified him as the shooter nearly two months after the robbery.
Terrance Adam Lyles, 33, and Travis Monique Price, 26, have already been charged in the case. They were both also apprehended in Philadelphia.
The FBI is also following up on leads in the robbery of a Wachovia bank branch on Six Forks Road in Raleigh on Jan. 14, 2008. Jonathan Lamar "Sinatra" Davis, 25, is wanted in that case.
