RALEIGH, N.C. — Sunday's highs will range in the mid 80s with low humidity. Sunday night will be mostly clear with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.

High pressure up to the north and west is extending down into North Carolina and should provide fair skies for the most part Sunday evening and Monday.

"Monday will bring a lot of sun to start the week. It will be fairly hot, too, with temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s," WRAL meteorologist Mike Moss said.

The high Saturday was 82 degrees at the Raleigh Durham International Airport, while the low was 60.

Tuesday will bring a little moisture across the state and clouds later in the day. A slight chance of a passing shower is possible Wednesday. The chance for rain is greater later in the week, Moss said.
