Second suspect pleads guilty in fatal theater shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. — A second man has pleaded guilty in last year's shooting death of a Raleigh theater manager.

Jason Anthony Zilinski pleaded guilty Thursday to accessory after the fact to second-degree murder, attempted armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery in the Oct. 24 death of Mark Douglas Buhaug.

He was sentenced to 60 to 81 months in prison.

Buhaug, 48, died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen following a robbery at Marquee Cinemas, off Capital Boulevard.

Zilinksi's stepfather, Anthony Joseph Bimbo, was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison after he pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.

One other man, Ryan Michael Becker, faces murder charges in the case. A court date for him has not been scheduled.

Buhaug, a 25-year veteran of the theater, had managed the Marquee since August 2005, Originally from Dilworth, Minn., he had lived in Raleigh for about 10 years.
