FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — As we thaw out from this week’s winter storm, there’s a lot to do in Fayetteville and Cumberland County this weekend.

Friday night, enjoy the Arts Council’s monthly Fourth Friday event. Downtown Fayetteville museums and merchants offer live music, new exhibits and more. For information, contact the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County at (910) 323-1776.

Starting Friday and going through Feb. 8: Cape Fear Regional Theater’s production of “West Side Story”. Friday’s premiere offers a champagne toast. For ticket prices and show times, call the theater at (910) 323-4233.

All weekend, the Museum of the Cape Fear will offer campfire cooking demonstrations, small arms drills and musket firing. Hourly guided tours will be held from 1:15 to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, contact the museum at (910) 486-1330.
