Thanksgiving offers ideal outdoor conditions

It was brisk for those who took to the streets before the feast. Temperatures dipped almost to the freezing mark overnight.
By mid-afternoon, temperatures across the region were pushing towards 60 degrees for the first time this week. The state were largely in the middle and upper 50s, and even Asheville had a reading of 52 degrees. Sunny skies abounded.
The same is on tap for Friday, with a cold front expected to blow in for the weekend.
"A cold air mass could build up in the area Saturday," WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner said, making a chilly rain a possibility for Saturday evening into Sunday.
