Four arrested after Hillsborough shooting, police chase
Police have arrested four people in connection with a shooting and attempted robbery at 585 Riddle Ave.

The deputy pursued the vehicle toward Mebane, and both vehicles crashed at the intersection of Mattress Factory Road and East Washington Street near Mebane, officers said. The suspects in the vehicle fled the scene.
Two of the suspects were captured near the crash scene, and deputies arrested two more suspects on Saturday morning. An SKS rifle was recovered by a Hillsborough police K-9 officer near the scene of the crash.
Hillsborough police identified the suspects as Hakeem Kyri Hubbard, 18, of 911 Wadesboro St.; James Benjanim Bolds III, 21, of 132 Cushman St.; Gilbert Devon Rochelle, 19, of 408 Lynn Road; and Jasmine Denise White, 17, of 3419 Woodland Park Road. All are from Durham.
Each person faces one charge of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and police said they are looking into other charges against the suspects.
All four were being held in the Orange County Jail under separate $150,000 bonds. Their first court appearances were set for Monday.
Two of the suspects were serving probation in Durham County at the time of the shooting.
Bolds was placed on probation after a May 1 conviction for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released from jail in June 2007 after serving a year for a common-law robbery in Mecklenburg County.
Rochelle was put on probation on April 3 after a conviction on misdemeanor breaking-and-entering charges. He had served a previous term of probation after being convicted in July 2006 of common-law going armed to the terror of the public.
