RALEIGH, N.C. — Two mothers and one baby have gone missing in separate cases in Raleigh and Edgecombe County.

Raleigh police are searching for a nearly 5-month-old boy who has gone missing with his mother.

Destonie Dale Peitz, 24, was last seen with her son, Peyton Joseph Seldomridge, at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday. They might be traveling in a beige 1994 Honda Accord with North Carolina license plate WRE-6776.

Raleigh police described Peitz as white, about 5 foot, 3 inches tall and 150 pounds.

Police haven't called the disappearance an abduction and said they don't suspect foul play. However, officers said they are concerned about the well being of the baby.

Anyone who has seen the two, knows their whereabouts or has any helpful information is asked to call 911 immediately.

In Edgecombe County, Francisco Morales Jaimes, 45, of 3377 Chinquain Road, was last seen on Nov. 1 in the area of Chinquapin Road. She is married with four children, and she has family in the Sanford area, authorities said.

Authorities described Jaimes as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall and approximately 160 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office at 252-641-7911. All information will remain confidential.
