AIDS Refuge Opens

RALEIGH — Aiming to provide people living with AIDS aplace where they can fight their illness and not have to deal withdiscrimination, a special home has been opened in Raleigh.

The House of Hope and Healing is ready to open its doors to up to fiveresidents at a time.

Director Anthony Evans says he is going to work hand-in-hand withsocial service agencies to help residents obtain assistance.

The House of Hope and Healing would welcome donations of householditems. To contribute, call 857-7250.
