Kids Start Football Careers at Raleigh Superbowl

RALEIGH — Children who want to play college footballhave to start somewhere, and for some, it might just begin at the Superbowl -- the Superbowl of Raleigh Youth Football, that is.

The Mighty Mite Cowboys were just one of several teams that took thefield at Enloe High School Saturday, and while the players were small, they packed quite a punch.For many, the NFL Superbowl couldn't be more exciting. Coach Mark Fostersays it's really rewarding to see the kids put so much into the games.

Coaches say the kids learn teamwork, the fundamentals of football and, most of all, fun.

Superbowl Saturday topped off a long three month season for the kids.
