SILER CITY — A shooting overnight has left oneman dead and two women injured.
The Chatham County Sheriff's Department says no suspects havebeen identified yet, but one of the victims said the assailantswere Latino. She said three males came into their home and robbedand shot all three occupants of the house.
The three victims are also Latino; none of their identities hasbeen released.
The two women were transferred to UNC Hospitals, where onewoman is reported in stable condition, the other in criticalcondition.
The shooting occurred at 28 Gees Church Road.
