Second Sexual Assault in Fayetteville in Two Days

FAYETTEVILLE — Police have issued a warning inFayetteville about a man who they say may be preying on young girls.They say the same man who kidnapped and tried to sexually assault ateenager Thursday may be responsible for other attacks.

Ronnica Lassiter says she still can't believe what she saw in frontof her Tollhouse Drive home Thursday.

Police say the kidnapper drove to a wooded area behind Benjamin MartinElementary School. Fayetteville Police Lt. Eugene Hallock says it wastherethat the 15-year-old victim managed to escape a sexual assault.

The victim helped police put together a composite sketch of herattacker. It resembles the sketch of a suspect wanted in up to five otherattempted assaults on girls over the last two years.

Lt. Hallock says they want to catch this suspect.
