More Kids Attending Catholic Schools

RALEIGH — North Carolina's catholic school population is growing faster than ever.The schools' population has increased by nearly 50% over the past fiveyears.

A study produced for theCatholic Diocese of Raleighfinds its 18 primary and secondary schools can'tkeep up with the demand.

The study says two primary schools are needed immediately in the Raleigharea, while new schools should also be planned for Greenville, Wilmingtonand Durham.
