Corrections Officer Accused of Dealing Drugs Says He Was Framed

Investigators have charged Ray Smith, one other officer, and an inmate at the Harnett Correctional Institution with selling marijuana toprisoners.

Ray Smith says the accusations are not true.

Smith admits he assisted the accused inmate with making some phonecalls, but says those calls were for legal help only.

Smith's wife says their lives are in a turmoil over this incident.

Smith says he thinks the inmate said Smith was involved and that wasbelieved.
