RICHMOND — A man who had been reported missing over theweekend, is safe back at home.
Virginia police found 77-year-old Elbert Dozier of Raleigh in theparking lot of a shoppingcenter in Colonial Heights, a town just outside of Richmond.
Dozier, a deacon at the 3500-member Wake Chapel Baptist Church, hadvanished Saturday night after readying the church for Sunday services, atask he performs every week. Virginia officers said he remembered hisbirthdate, but could not tell them how he wound up in Virginia.
Dozier has no known medical problems. Foul play is not suspected in hisdisappearance.
