PITTSBORO — The Ebenezer Point beach and boat launch at Jordan Lake are open, but therabies scare may not be over. Saturday, there are more reports of oddacting beavers at Lake Jordan.
A strange acting beaver was shot when it approached a beaver control expertthere to study problems with rabid beavers. Two other attacks involvingrabid beavers have been reported at the lake this summer.
The park closed last week after a boy was bit while he was swimming.
