W.E. Barnette, the Vice-President of Delta Express, told a crowd the twoflights to Orlando are only the beginning of the service planned by DeltaExpress to this area.
Kids were on hand to see Mickey, and parents are excited about the newservice. Debra Barbour believes the Delta Express tie to Disney Worldwill eventually come with some perks, and especially good prices.
Delta Express goes head to head with Midway to Orlando with competitivefares. Barnette says the numbers tell him Delta Express will get all thesupport it needs from North Carolina, and will more than likely bring moreflights to Florida in the future. Though Barnette won't speculate whereand when the new service will take place, he tells local residents to"stay tuned."
Delta Express will celebrate its first anniversary of ties to RDU onOctober 1st. Airline officials say there are plenty of passengers to fillDelta Express planes, as well as Midway jets.
