ROCKY MOUNT — After months of worry and speculation, some employees of Hardee's are goinghome without jobs.
Late Tuesday afternoon, CKE Restaurants finalized its bid to take over thefast food chain. Moments later, employees left the building, manycarrying boxes of office supplies.
More than 300 people currently work at the Rocky Mount office. A pressconference is scheduled Wednesday morning to shed new light on just howmany people will be affected by this first round of layoffs.
