<b>KNIGHTDALE</b> — A tough new dog is coming to theTriangle, and he's bringing his house with him. The dog is McGruff, thecrime-fighting dog, and he's coming to take a bite out of crime and helpkeep children safe.

North Carolina's very first McGruff House opened Tuesday inKnightdale. The theme is based on McGruff the "crime dog" and lawenforcement mascot.

The house is a safe place where kids can go if they are lost or feelthreatened.
