Children Becoming More Familiar with Violence

UNDATED — As scary as it sounds.. the numbers show our classroom are becoming moreand more violent.A third of all K-through 12th graders in city schools, are shot, stabbedor injured by another student at school or on their way to and from school.Thirty five percent of students threaten another student or teacher.The statistics also show the murder rate for males between 15-and-19 isup 154% since 1985.
