FAYETTEVILLE — A water main burst about 3 a.m. Tuesdayin the city, cracking off chunksof pavement on a one-block stretch of Mirror Lake Drive in the Van StoryHills neighborhood.
Public Works crews have been working to repair the damage.At noon, about 15 customers were still without water.Workers expect to have the main fixed and the road passable as early astonight.
