<b>DURHAM</b> — A Durham teenager will spend at least the nexttwo years behind bars for killing her baby.

A Durham judge gave 19-year-old Lakesha Johnson the maximum penalty.Last year she held the 8-week-old girl under scalding hot water.The infant died of her injuries a few days later.

In her defense, Johnson's attorneys said post-partum depressioncaused her actions, but prosecutors said that was no excuse.
