LILLINGTON — People in Harnett County can rest assuredtheir lawns will get needed water. Last week county leaders asked folksnot to water their lawns, wash their cars or fill their pools, butrains this weekend have helped ease some of the area's water shortage.
Now the county is putting residents on a rotation according to theirzip codes. That means people will be able use water for all of theirnon-essential uses two days a week until the entire ban can be lifted.
