The Henderson County Jail inmate escaped last Tuesday from a transportvan while it was stopped at a gas station. Since his escape, officers saythe inmate stole several cars and broke into a Cleveland County home.

The escapee was arrested Monday night after he was spotted drivinganother stolen car.
