<b>GARNER</b> — The Society for the Prevention of Crueltyto Animals are offering the perfect way for people to gather up somecuddly, new pets this weekend.

Hundreds of dogs and cats will be available at this weekend's nationaladopt-a-thon.

Locally, the events will take place in Garner Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8p.m., and Sunday noon to 6 p.m., and in Chapel Hill Saturday only, 11 a.m.to 9 p.m.

All vaccinations are included in the adoption fees, which vary fromshelter to shelter.
