Rabies Clinics Offered in Wake County

RALEIGH — Since 1994, there have been 80 confirmed casesof rabies in Wake County, and the number of cases reported in surroundingareas continues to climb. To help combat the trend, Wake County isoffering a series of rabies clinics so that animal lovers can have theirpets immunized.

There will be one at Davis Drive Elementary School in Apex Tuesdaythrough 8 p.m. Tuesday. The vaccinations cost only $4. For moreinformation, you can call (919) 250-1478.
