FAYETTEVILLE — A female rottweiler that mauled a4-year-old boy visiting his parents in Fayetteville was put to sleepMonday.
Corry McLaughlin jumped into the dog's pen Friday night to retrieve aball. That's when the dog, who had two puppies in the pen with her,attacked.
At the request of the child's family, the female dog, her mate andtheir puppies were all destroyed.
