RALEIGH — The North Carolina State student accused ofkilling his pregnant girlfriend, then dumping her body in the woods, wasin court Wednesday for a probable cause hearing.
Edwin Lawing said he didn't kill Lacoy McQueen. The former Shawstudent's remains were found by a road crew in Vance County last month,almost a year after she was reported missing.
Police believe Lawing killed McQueen after the couple argued about herpregnancy.
