Authorities said a man went to his ex-girlfriend's house at 911 OldFairground Road, where he allegedly shot her in the stomach and shot herpresent boyfriend in the shoulder.
The ex-boyfriend then went out on the front lawn and shot himself inthe head.
A total of five adults and two children were in the house during theshooting. None of the children was injured.
The woman is in critical condition at Betsy Johnson Hospital in HarnettCounty.
The two men were both transported to UNC hospitals, where theex-boyfriend is listed in critical condition.
Names were not released, pending notification of relatives. No chargeshave been filed but may be forthcoming.
