MOUNT HOLLY — Police are investigating a grocery storerobbery in Mount Holly that bears an eerie similarity to one in Raleighthree years ago.
Two workers at a Mount Holly Food Lion say a gunman threatened to killthem during a pre-dawn robbery. Both workers claim they were forced to lieface down on the floor while the gunman cleaned out cash registers.
Two North Raleigh Food Lion employees were shot to death during asimilar robbery in 1993. Brothers, Robert and Elmer Ray McNeill wereconvicted of that crime.
