CHAPEL HILL — An unusual incident involving hospitalrecords has UNC Hospital officials taking a hard look at its security.
Friday, someone left a stack of highly confidential hospital records atthe Caffe Trio on Franklin Street. Among the papers was a list of patientsscheduled for surgery.
There's no word on how the documents got there, but hospital officialssaythey're now working on tightening security in areas where confidentialityis an issue.
