NASHVILLE — Defense attorneys for an accused killercalled a surprising witness to the stand Tuesday in Nash County. It wasthe co-defendant accused of kidnapping and killing 34-year-old Jodie Plewtwo years ago.
Bobby Arrington heard questions, but refused to testify after beingcalled by attorneys for defendant Dexter Harris. Since their arrests, thetwo men have accused each other of being the gunman.
Arrington invoked the Fifth Amendment each time he was asked aquestion, although he did hesitate briefly when prosecutors asked him ifHarris killed Plew.
Arrington will be tried later this year.
