RALEIGH — Emergency crews searched a creekFriday morning near the Neuse River and U.S. 401 in northern Wake Countyafter finding a four-wheel, all-terrainvehicle turned upside down andabandoned.
Police called off the search saying they have no reason tobelieve that anyone was on the vehicle.They said they were searching the area as aprecaution. A deputy found the vehicle thismorning while on patrol.
The search was called off shortly after noon.
