Two Area Coaches in Trouble, Out of Work

DURHAM — A Northern Durham High School teacher is onleave following accusations of sexual harassment. David Turner, who hastaught for 24 years, allegedly harassed a female student verbally andphysically.

Turner has no prior record of complaints. He is on paid leave until aninvestigation is completed.

Meanwhile, a former high school basketball coach from High Point isfree on bond after being charged with cocaine trafficking.

Robert Clemons Jr. was arrested Tuesday night after police found twokilograms of cocaine in a house Clemons was using.

It's the largest cocaine bust in High Point's history.

The 11-year teaching veteran resigned from his post last week citingpersonal reasons.
