FAYETTEVILLE — Police have found a Hope Mills manthey say ran from the scene of a fatal car accident.
About 11 Saturday night, a car was traveling down Rosalyn Road, justoutside Fayetteville. Then it smashed into a tree and flipped over.
The driver took off on foot, leaving a passenger who was killed onbeing thrown from the vehicle.
Investigators say 21-year-old Cody Seals was driving. The passenger,Jeanette Rivera, 21, was killed.
Police said Seals was found early Sunday and faces several charges,including drunk driving and death by motor vehicle.
