CHARLOTTE — Advocates and opponents of a proposedgraduated license program will soon have a chance to speak out on theissue. Community Forums will be held throughout the state to allowcitizens to discuss the virtues and drawbacks of the program which wouldallow new drivers more privilege as they gain more experience behind thewheel. State lawmakers may reintroduce the idea during the new legislativesession.
The first forum was held Tuesday night in Charlotte. The forum tourwill wrap up in Raleigh at the North Raleigh Hilton on January 22, 1997 at7 p.m.
