<b>WILMINGTON, N.C.</b> — The kidnapping-murder trial ofTodd Boggess will proceed as scheduled. Defense attorneys made alast minute bid to delay the trial, arguing that the prosecution was tooslow in providing them with vital information.

Monday, the judge disagreed and accused thedefenseof tryingto delay proceedings.

Boggess and his then 14-year-old girlfriend are accused of kidnappingand killing a Wilmington honor roll student. The trial is set to beginMonday.
