Deputy Gary Owen and another deputy were responding to a call on LegionRd. last night when he lost control of his cruiser, crossed the median,and sideswiped a truck.

Three people in the truck and the two deputies were hospitalized, butnone of their injuries is life threatening.

The Highway Patrol says the deputy was following proper procedure whenthe accident occurred.
