FAYETTEVILLE — Convenience ... it's part of thereason these stores have become so popular, but they can also be a littletoo convenient for criminals looking to get away with some quick cash.
Wednesday night in Fayetteville, there were five armed robberies, allwithin eight hours and all at convenience stores.
Louis Calbreath happened to be working at one of them when a robberentered.
Calbreath says he was shocked when the man pulled a gun and demandedmoney.
Fayetteville Police Officer Lt. Richard Bryant says Calbreath was oneof the lucky ones.
In each case, robbers entered the stores and left with plenty of cash.,but police have a surveillance tape they hope will help them catch at least one of the robbers.
