PITTSBORO — Two people are dead and two are in thehospital after a late night crash in Chatham County.
Troopers say the driver of a Subaru station wagon heading south on US15-501near Jordan Lake lost control of his vehicle. The station wagon hit aHonda Accord in the northbound lane head-on.
A man and a woman in the station wagon died at the scene. They havebeen identified as David Symes, 35, and his wife, Sherry, also 35.
The two occupants of the other car are in the hospital with brokenbones. They have been identified as Chris Horten, 33, and Harry Wilson,Jr., 18. Horten and Wilson are both from Sanford. They are listed instable condition.
