RALEIGH — A man was killed in an accident on HammondStreet near Interstate 440 Friday morning. The accident snarled trafficfor most of the morning as police worked to clear the area.
Police say the driver lost control of his bread truck, hit a guardrail, and ran off the road. The truck rolled over several times.
The unidentified driver died at the scene.
