<b>HILLSBOROUGH</b> — Three Hillsborough teens made theirfirst court appearances Monday in connection with charges of murder.

Thursday, police arrested 16-year-old Richard Earl Sorrell (pictured at left) and chargedhim with killing 18-year-old Calvin Keeter behind a Hillborough McDonald'srestaurant.

After questioning Sorrell, police also charged him in connection withthe stabbing death of 21-year-old John Creighton of Durham. Police havebeen searching for Creighton's killer for several weeks.

Two other teens are charged with aiding in Creighton's death.

According to Highway Patrol, the crash was the result of a chase that started in Harnett County and ended on North Bragg Boulevard and Mckenzie Road in Spring Lake.

According to the Danville Police Department, officers received a tip of prior animal abuse at a pet grooming store on Hairston Street in Danville. In the complaint, a video showed the employee, identified as 22-year-old Cassidy Gill, striking a dog in January and February. The video in the complaint was shared with other social media accounts, including PETA.
