Sharpsburg Town Administrator Resigns

Posted Updated

SHARPSBURG, N.C. — There's been another big shake up in a small town recently plagued with problems.

Sharpsburg's town administrator, Victor Marrow, resigned this week after just six months on the job. The Local Government Commission recently said Marrow and staff are unable to maintain town accounting records.

Sharpsburg has struggled with a nearly $400,000 budget deficit. The town laid off four police officers and two public works employees in the last six months.
