Jones Street Closed In Raleigh After Minor Train Derailment

RALEIGH, N.C. — A train car that derailed Wednesday morning has closed

West Jones Street

in Raleigh.

Police said that there was not much damage to the rail car itself, but the track was damaged in the incident.

Police said they were not sure if the track was the cause of the derailment.

West Jones Street is expected to be closed for several hours on Wednesday while crews repair the track.
