Cornerstone BioPharma Adds Another Partner for Sale of Pain Drug

is adding another sales partner for its pain reliever Balacet 325.

Athlon Pharmaceuticals has signed on to utilize its sales force to promote Balacet 325. The drug, which is for treatment of mild to moderate pain, was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 2005.

Cornerstone signed a co-promotion agreement with Ascend Therapeutics in March of this year.
