RALEIGH, N.C. — The federal government's General Services Administration has signed a contract to modernize its applications by using

Relativity Technologies'

Modernization Workbench software.

Relativity's software will enable the GSA to perform automated analysis and updating of core enterprise applications.

"Our applications contain millions of lines of code and highly sophisticated, proven processes," said a director with GSA in a statement. "Modernizing applications of this magnitude requires a deep understanding of their structure and the means to ensure the continuity of the underlying business logic. The Modernization Workbench has more than delivered on these needs with its ability to automatically generate detailed documentation, quickly uncover hidden business logic, and fully ensure the transition of this business logic to the modernized applications."
