Three Arrests Made In Raleigh Drive-By Shooting

RALEIGH, N.C. — Three people have been charged in the weekend shooting death of a teenager.

On Sunday, Raleigh police arrested Kerwin Ellis Pittman, 19, and Tiara Banks, 22. On Monday, they also arrested Sean Tremaine McCullers, 16. All three are charged with killing 18-year-old Jamel Jeffreys.

Police said Jeffreys and three other men were shot at from several moving vehicles while they were standing outside a house on Beauty Avenue. Jeffreys was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deron Terrell Signal, 24, Antwyon Dawayne Hill, 22, and Jeremiah Stephanas White, 19, were treated and released from WakeMed.

Police said three vehicles used during the commission of the crime have been identified and recovered.
