Three Children Injured In Johnston County Collision

ZEBULON, N.C. — At least three children were injured in a two-car accident in Johnson County late Saturday afternoon.

Authorities say that at least six people were involved in the accident, which occurred at the intersection of

N.C. Highway 96 and Earpsboro Road

.

One child was reportedly pinned beneath one of the vehicles, but was rescued by its mother. Authorities said the other two children were thrown from the vehicle.

The children injured were taken to WakeMed. Authorities have not released the names or medical conditions of anyone involved in the collision.
